Good sandwiches. Overpriced.. Had a good pastrami sandwich. But it was too small to cost $8.00+ with a bottle of water.

It took us 45 minutes to get our food. I figured I would love it after that wait, because my husband remembered it as awesome from years ago, but after that excruciating wait, my food was cold. My bun was soppy with grease like it had been sitting awhile, even though my husband was standing at the window waiting for it. It took so long for our food, that we missed part of my daughter’s volleyball game. My first and last time eating at Kappys.

Rude, Rip Off. I went to this place with my mother recently because she said when she was young it was great…well not anymore the food was overpriced and over peppered but under salted and after ordering the fried mushrooms for $6 they said we didn’t order them, they continued to argue with us even after we showed the receipt to them… it was on the receipt… then after awhile they admitted they were wrong and gave us our mushrooms…5 of them to be exact… DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE YOU WILL NOT FORGIVE YOURSELF Go to one of the many Gyros locations better people and better food

The cook is a piece of cheese cake. i don’t want to offend anyone but after visiting the funeral home to make arrangements for my mothers funeral. i treated my aunts, sister and daughter to lunch after a stressful afternoon. i was greeted by a man. From the beginning of the order it was a disaster in the making. We asked for unsweet tea and got sweet. When i asked if they would mind changing it he snatched the drinks and started to ramble on about people from the north. i went inside to apologize for the mix up and all he could do was act ignorant and had no consideration for wha my family was going through. i asked for the owners info and name. he gave me a menu and after asking if the owner would answer he said no and ripped the menu from my hand. He would not give me the owners name. He in the end called the cops and tresspassed me from there property after spending $50 on subs and drinks for the family. the officer felt bad for me and wrote his name on the back of the citation. I still have yet to contact the owner.

Yum. Loved everything19 Oct, 2011Philly Cheesesteak. Delicious. They steam the bread instead of toast it so I was very happy with that. The meat was juicy and the cheese was nicely melted with sauteed onions. I didn’t even need mayo. I really love this place and its 50’s feel. Best Philly i’ve had yet!

Hooray for Kappy’s!. It’s been standing for longer than I’ve been alive, and the reason why is GOOD FOOD. Yes, the ordering techniques can be a bit mystifying (I’ve been to The Varsity in Atlanta, so I’m used to it) and the price can be a bit high (as all things are going these days) but the taste is very much worth it!
