First visit = last visit. Service was terrible; food was mediocre at best; staff (which seemed to consist of two people running restaurant, bar, and take out) was clueless. With the overabundant amount of similar restaurants in this area, I have no idea why someone would choose to come here more than once!

I believe I have found Tampa bay’s worst sushi joint. It was absolutely disgusting, fish was just shy of rotten and a very poor cut. If I was less ethical I’d run out on the check here. We ordered 3 rolls and ate 1. The other 2 were just too disgusting.
I hope it’s not too chinesey. I had Thai won ton soup. Well I didn’t even know there was such a thing and I guess there isn’t because it was the same as Chinese. Also the miso soup was listed under Chinese soups. Also teriyaki was under Chinese appetizer. Little confusing. Maybe shouldn’t try to serve so many different dishes. I personally don’t like to be served by a white waiter in an Asian restaurant. Prices were also a bit high. No desire to return.
I have been coming here for over five years. I have yet to have a bad experience or food. Great staff, great atmosphere, great food. Sushi is amazing
Had the Panang curry extra hot and it was very good (not rea Thai x hot) but a lot of good food for the money. At least for Thai seems worth the visit especially since it made me 2 full meals!
Has Everything. Bangkok Tokyo is located in the corner of the Bealls shopping center near I-75 on SR70. This tiny gem is beautifully decorated in traditional Thai aesthetic, and the food is mainly Thai. Their menu is quite large and is divided into sections for Appetizers, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese selections.Their lunch specials come with soup of your choice and jasmine rice and run about $7.95. You can choose from the different Thai curries or noodles and if you want meat, seafood, or tofu. Thai dinners run about $10.95-13.95.Chinese American fare offered are the classic fried rices, lo mein, and deep fried chicken chunks etc.Their selection of Japanese food is quite impressive and they offer Bento Boxes for around $12.95, which include a large amount of food. Such as ginger salad, dumplings, rice, stir fry, and veggies. The sushi is consistent and of very good quality at average sushi price. They have a special sushi menu with the more expensive mayo covered stuff that I usually order from. My favorite is the special roll that is covered in real (not the fake stuff) blue crab and spicy mayo for $12.95. They also have a roll with lobster for around the same price.Make sure to at least give this place a try. It is very good for Bradenton. Their Thai iced tea is good, too!
