Great Food, Casual clean atmosphere, good price. (Not my favorite Sauce). The smoke flavor, quality meats and awesome sides really shine! On a preference note; I LLLooovveee southern BBQ sauce! However, the ONLY sauce C & K has is the very mustardy North Carolina sauce. Would eat there way more often if they offered an optional southern BBQ sauce.
The place is tiny so if you are looking to eat there good luck. Stopped here for a quick lunch with the family. It was OK. The sides were great, beans,coleslaw and the macNcheese! The pulled pork wak really dry so you need sauce. We live 20min north of NC for 5 years in VA and never had BBQsauce like that. There was so much mustard!!!?? Not our style of NC BBQ. Won’t be back!
The pulled pork is dry with little flavor so you need sauce. The chicken and ribs – OMG!! You will be floored! Fall off the bone and no sauce needed. The flavor is outstanding. The sides are better than home made. I would definitely eat there again.
Really excellent. This was an excellent find for us. The portions are generous for a very fair price. The meat was soooo tender and yummy. Try the lemon pound cake!!
Enjoy a little BBQ in Parrish, FL. It is hard not to enjoy a BBQ joint that is friendly and authentic. The ribs are typical of the area but with plenty of flavorful pork. The mustard base hot sauce is perfect for these ribs that have light smoke and an interesting bark. The pulled pork has a genuine flavor again with light smoke. Good sides and a wonderful front porch that was great to enjoy the BBQ. The sweet tea is very good. This may be my favorite place in the Bradenton/Parrish area.
This is the best BBQ in the area. The pulled pork is moist with good smoke flavor. They have 4 types of sauce but the hot is my favorite. They also serve chicken and ribs but I have not tried them yet. The sides are awesome collard greens were quite tasty. Meals are extremely affordable and worth more than they charge. I will be a regular customer.
I voted I liked it but with hesitation. The ribs were good and so was the chicken. The pulled pork was bland. The sauce is horrible! Pick up a bottle of real BBQ sauce and the meal improves. The side dishes lacked flavor. The potato salad was passable but barely and the baked beans reminded me of pork n beans. I might eat there again but I will skip the sides and sauce.
