We had a very good dinner. Very easy to say I liked my visit last night. Having read my review of the Fish Camp I visited in Venice where I thought the tables were a little too close together, it was great to walk in to a nice interior, spacing was good, and even the dcor was nicer than the fish and netting I expected to find.I liked the place, what about the service? I actually felt a little sorry for our server with my table asking so many questions and having so much trouble deciding, pinning her at our table when she had others to attend to. But she was a trooper, helped get us informed, and did a very good job throughout the meal.Place was good, service was good, what about the food? The experience is important and so is the food. I had something called a Grouper Mountain, a blackened Grouper fillet sitting on mashed potatoes, a few veggies, and four shrimp adorning the top. A lobster sauce was drizzled around the edge of the plate. Excellent dish, there was plenty of food and when I finished I wished there were more.

First visit…will try again. Nice addition to this part of town. Nice atmosphere, staff and food. Prices are right and there are especially good values with their specials. The fried pickles were an unexpected treat. My shrimp and oysters were fresh n’ tasty! It was good enough for me to give them another shot.
