Worst fish dinner I ever ate! I got the grouper platter. The fish (which I doubt was grouper) was dry, over-cooked and not fresh. My husband said that his fried fish was soggy. I told the server that I needed gluten-free. He had no idea what that was, and I had to argue with him to get what I wanted. I ordered the sweet potato fries, since I’ve never seen them battered. When my order came, they were covered in batter. I then asked for cheesy grits, and it took about 15 minutes for the server to bring them. The broccoli was good, but especially for the high price, the dinner was a disaster. Will stick to Star Fish Company in the future.

My wife and I have been regular visitors to The Kitchen since 2012. We have also eaten at many other local restaurants. We have found The Kitchen to have the freshest seafood around – they get it directly off the boats at the dock.Drinks are strong and delicious – Chris makes some of the best Rum Runners anywhere.Entertainment is quite good and always fun.Yes, you seat yourself and yes it’s always crowded at night, but everyone is friendly and having a great time….worth the wait.The scallops are aome of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Must try them.
