Huge menu with a focus on fish. A great bar that makes a great Bloody Mary. Everything is unhealthy and irresistible and delicious. Locate 1,000 feet from the Cortez Bridge, if you are on Anna Maria or Bradenton above 75th, an easy trip which does not disappoint.
My dad always told me if you want steak, go to steakhouse. If you want pasta, go to an Italian restaurant, if you want fish, go to seafood restaurant. That being said, O’Shucks is the exception to the rule! From the fresh shucked oysters to the smoked chicken, everything I have tried here has been very good. Be sure to try the fried mac-n-cheese!! They also have a full bar, including several beers on tap, and a decent wine selection.
