Bad Food don’t go here. I have lived in the area for about 7 years and when we first moved here from New Jersey, we had dinner here and it was not that great but decided to try again because I saw in a local magazine they had Octopus and I am Italian and grew up eating it. There were 6 of us and we all had different dishes. It also was Wednesday when everything on the menu was half price except the appetizers and lobster dinners. Okay not bad you just have to buy a soft drink and they are only 2.49 and a small plastic cup and you have to ask for another when it is gone even the ice. When u walk in the smell hits you in the face, it smells like a cellar and that should have been a sign to get out of there but we just seated at our table and felt compelled to stay. The service was just okay. I had mussels for an appetizer and no one else wanted an appetizer so I dug in and shared well they tasted a little off like old. Did not say anything just ate and even my plain ice tea tasted strange not fresh brewed like I asked. I ordered the octopus and yuk it was awful and it was grilled but not enough and the skin on it was slimy still and had no taste so I sent it back to be cooked more and it never tasted good at all. The salad was very small and the dressing was brought in a bottle that looked like a white vinegar bottle and very thick and dirty looking. Next time clean the outside of the bottle 3 of my friends had chicken parm and said it was just okay and 2 others had a dish with pasta and artichokes and olives and said it was oily and again okay. The dipping sauce they used for your bread was sparsely little dish with hardly any oil and this will be a do not return place for sure also the owner does not help his staff and they do not have enough of staff anyway our table needed to take a couple of dishes away and I asked the owner if he could take them and he said do I know u and had an attitude when he took them. We would have rather went to Olive garden and had fresh food and no attitude,
Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. The wife and I went during our honeymoon week and they treated us like family. I would definitely go back next time we are in Sarasota, FL.
Yum on the Salad Dressing. I really enjoy the homemade salad dressing. The meatballs taste home made not industrialized like other restaurants. I love the artichoke appetizer and their pizzas. As you can see, I have been there many times and enjoy it. I especially love the staff!
Fabulous food great charisma throughout the restaurant don’t listen to what people write they don’t know what food is because the food here was the best and a great deal too!
