Nice view. The dining room at Rosedale is open to the public. The community is gated but we were let in after informing the guard we were going to the restaurant. It was Sunday and we were there to try the Sunday a la Carte Brunch. It is off-season, during the season I believe they set up a buffet.A friendly greeting and we were shown to our table. The view looking out over the golf course and bridge was very nice and relaxing. Upholstered chairs and nice background music added to the upscale ambience. Missing were drapes, the large windows letting in the view.I ordered the Beef Tenderloin Benedict with Barnaise Sauce, my wife Grilled Ham with Poached Eggs. For both our dishes the poached eggs were overcooked to the point where the yokes were not runny at all. I also thought the sauce was understated, but that may be partly my fault as I had mistakenly expected Hollandaise sauce. Still, it was a fine breakfast. For my side I had the Ratatouille and found it to be excellent. Two other things, there is a dress code (ex. no jeans) and they automatically add an 18% gratuity to all checks.
