Roadside Stop!. S&R Twisted Smoke Stack came to us by people who had been there and had the food and were impressed. So we had to see what they were talking about and everything, I mean EVERYTHING they said was true.The pulled pork sandwich, of which we both had one, was the best pulled pork of all the ones weve had. Of course there are probably others that are better but for now this is #1. The sauce they make, not buy, but make, is a molasses based sauce and to put it on the sandwich would be a waste. Keep it on the side and just dip a little on the bread to get a light taste. This sauce would be good on more then just a pulled pork sandwich, vanilla ice cream maybe??Potato salad and cole slaw they have are both really good and the cole slaw can go on the pulled pork if you like that. There is no seating, and its all outside so your seating is going to be in your truck. Dont pull in and park as close to the trailer as you can, order, then sit there and eat. MOVE! Park over along the parameter of the lot by the trees so others coming in can park to go order. Prices are good and you get what you pay for and youll look forward to returning when you are in the area.
