Nice change of pace, a country restaurant. I like Susy Q’s because I like the customer base, layed back country folks. Here’s what I’ve learned from my multiple visits: Food hits: the daily special is always good so try and pick from the board your first time. Off the menu the fried macaroni wedges are very good, my kids love them. The cowchips, fried green tomatos and sweet potato fries are good. Their pies are all good.Food misses: So far, everything else I’ve tried on the menu is a miss. My last visit I tried for the first time a sandwich wrap with a side of brussel sprouts. The sprout were way over boiled and were served in the same basket as my wrap so when the waitress brought it to me the sprout juice had spilled into the basket and pretty much ruined my wrap. I hate to be a complainer so I didn’t say anything(I know, wrong decision).I will keep trying different menu items in the future to find the winners though.Service: I like those girls but they tend to be abrupt and unfriendly when their busy but warm and friendly when slow. Nothing to jump up about but we’ll be back.One more thing, bring cash because they don’t take credit cards
