Lazy lobster. I think the chef is not aware of the salt shakers on the table by the amont he puts in the soup, it may have been good if you could get past the salt taste. Stuffed flounder was very bland. Not what I expected for the price.
Very pleasantly surprised. Read some nice reviews and gave it a try. Delightful experience. Lovely setting including an aquarium bar with real fish. Rolls were warm and tasty with a great dipping sauce. Salads were large and tasty. We both had lobster entrees. The scampi was very delicious and the pot pie equally satisfying. And homemade key lime pie for dessert. We have already told people about it. You won’t be disappointed.
Mrs.Clark. Thank you LL for your consistant quality We have come for dinner at least once a month for years and have always raved about the fabulous food and fine staff. We will see you at 5pm tonight!!!
Lockwood ridge restaurant is the best so far. First time and new to the area we will definitely make this a regular
We went while on vacation in longboat key all the food was ok but we felt it was very bland services where very good and this place is clean.
Pretty good dinner. We arrived early to The Lazy Lobster, early enough for their early bird special with their reduced price menu available today until 5:30. I ordered the Clam Chowder and the Stuffed Shrimp Norma. The chowder was good with lots and lots of pieces of clams, many more than even pieces of potatoes. The shrimps were also pretty good, a hint of clam mixed with spinach and wrapped with each shrimp with a light flaky crust. For the early bird the dish came with 3 shrimp, from the normal dinner menu the dish would include four.Service was polite with no problems at all. All the expected things were done and done well. The place started filling up after we arrived. Busy places are good places. The Lazy Lobster is located in the Lockwood Village Plaza on the NE corner of Lockwood Ridge Rd and Tallevast Rd.
Neighborhood Gem. The Lazy Lobster on Lockwood Ridge is one of the best kept secrets in the North Sarasota/South Manatee area.As regular customers, at least twice per month, we are consistantly impressed with the creativity shown by the owner. The menu items are great but the specials are some of the best seafood preparations we have encountered in the area. The quality of the food is matched by the quality of the staff. They are friendly, attentive and helpful. The Lazy Lobster is hard to beat – super food and excellent staff at a reasonable price.
