A great find. We discovered this place existed only a few weeks ago and looked for an opportunity to try it out. That was today and we were glad we made the trip. We do like waterfront dining where the food is good and the attitude is easy. The food was good. The three of us all ordered the same thing, a Combo Basket that consisted of shrimp, scallops, Mahi Mahi, some homemade coleslaw and a side. They can prepare the seafood three ways, blackened, fried and grilled and we just happened to choose all three. Aside from my blackened fish being too dry all of us only had good things to say. We especially liked the scallops.Instead of the Mahi Mahi we could have gotten Grouper for a small upcharge and after we watched them actually filet the fish on the dock for the restaurant we now know it would have been very fresh and really grouper.Tide Tables is a nice small place. The inside looked to be mainly set up like a bar with all high tops. Outside are several picnic tables around another bar with stools. If you have visited the Star Fish Company, Tide Tables is pretty similar. In fact, Star Fish Company is a part owner in Tide Tables.It was a great view looking out over the water, watching the boats, and watching the pelicans gathering when they started cleaning the fish.Something different between our visit to Star Fish and todays visit was today the food came out reasonably quick. After we ate things slowed down to Tide Table Time, but by then we were full and just relaxing. I should mention we finished up with some of their homemade Key Lime pie. It would be hard to find a better traditional offering.
