This is a very local friendly place in the heart of Cortez. I can’t think of another place where you can go and see people at one table eating seared black fin tuna, another table having a duck sandwich or another having a gourmet pizza. Everything I have had here has been excellent. Tonight’s smoked mullet en croute was no exception. As a fan of smoked mullet I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered it, but it was awesome. I personally like to sit at the bar, with a cold beer, and watch the food being made & come out of the real wood burning oven. Amanda & Joey have something very special here, & it shows in the food they put out.

Amazing and thoughtful pizza combinations. Better beer selection than the other Bud joints in the area. Had a great handmade wood oven ropa vieja pizza. Will be back.
Great owners…great food. Glad we didn’t pass up this tiny place…good things come in small packages as they say…well we were pleasantly surprised. The people are friendly here and the pizza is great…but the best thing is the grilled wedge with caesar dressing…I hate caesar, but this stuff was fantastic…my mouth waters thinking about this salad…please stop in and give these nice folks your business…you won’t be disappointed…

Owner & chef joe cooks any type of pizza right in front of you in a wood burning pizza oven he made! Killer grilled Caesar salad & good beer selection. Make a point to eat here. You won’t be disappointed!
