Had a FANTASTIC dinner: scallops with prawns!!! Along with the lobster bisque. My husband had the macadamian encrusted cobia along with the eggplant appetizer. The desserts all sounded excellent however we diid not have any more room. Definitely going back!!!! We HIGHLY recommend having dinner at Cafe De Marco!!!! Ask for Marty, he was an excellent server.

Food was good, selection was limited & service was slow & the atmosphere was average. Surprising since everyone at the Marco Marriott recommended it when we asked for a local seafood restaurant with a water view.
I am usually always satisfied if a restaurant has > 80% Likes, but this was a disappointment. Tables are too close together & food was nothing special. I ordered the macadamia crusted talipia with mango salsa. In hind sight I should have at least ordered a local fresh fish. I also should have read Victorias review of entree. She was accurate. Other family members ordered the shrimp scampi. It was good but not over the top. Service was great, but food was marginal.
Food is great! Very charming little spot. Don’t be fooled by the exterior, this chef can flat out cook!
BEST FOOD IN MARCO ISLAND with great service! The prawns are amazing!Everything we had was great. A must stop if you are in the area.
