Great Food and Service. This fine restaurant has creative and classic cuisine. My wife and I had a fantastic meal here. The dining room is elegant and intimate and the service personal and expedient. The fish selections are fresh and varied and the classic dishes were perfection. The fixed price menu was a great value and allowed us to sample creative and delicious appetisers, soups, salads, and wonderful deserts along with outstanding entrees. Our dinners were a gallery of presentation and a symphony of flavor.
WOW. Just got back from the island and I still can taste the food (in a great way of course). Hands down the best food from Key West to Tampa. The Chef of the Island Cafe is truley amazing and talented!!!!!!!!! You would be a fool not to go to the Island Cafe!
Experienced restaurant consumer. This is by far the best restaurant on Marco Island. It is sophisticated and elegant, with marvellous staff and a superb chef. It is probably underrated, but its cuisine ranks with the best in large urban areas. The owner and staff are gracious and welcoming and the menu is varied and diverse.
Fantastic Food and People. My family and I lived in Marco Island for several years and truely loved the Island Cafe. Not just for the superb food, but the friendships we built with the executive chef, Fred Braun and the owner, Bill Baumler. When we return for a visit, it is our first stop, because I cannot resist the extraordinary bouillaisse. The menu is extensive and for the quality, very reasonable. This quaint place is a must try if your in Southwest Florida.
