It was our last night of our vacation. We heard Konrad’s is known for the best prime rib. I ordered the prime rib and wished I hadn’t. It not only looked microwaved but also tasted like it. My husband ordered the Boulibasse. Yes it had seafood but the broth was weak and had celery and raw carrots in it. We were disappointed to say the least. Our server decided to give himself a 20% tip on top of it. Would we go back — NEVER

Konrad’s is not worth the money!. Over the years, I passed by this unassuming restaurant and decided to try it on this trip. I ordered a mojito which was featured on their cocktail menu, but they had no mint! I ordered an appetizer, the crab cake, which came with German cole slaw. The crab cake was good; didn’t like the cole slaw. The menu was limited. For the main course, I ordered the Tuesday special, duck with Grand Marnier sauce. It came with mashed potatoes and cabbage. They substituted sauteed spinach for me. However, I was disappointed with the duck. I didn’t get a half, I was served two leg quarters for $21.95, $11 per leg! That’s usury!!! This restaurant was disappointing and very over-priced!

The food was good. The service was fast. The portion sizes were a bit small (crab cake appetizer only had one cake). All and all it was a pleasant dining experience. No major complaints; however nothing to rave about.

This place is decent. Everything was good.

The first impression of this place is pure pretension. It’s a restaurant that tries very hard to be an upscale fancy place, but with their pink and green floral decor just comes off looking like an ’80’s snooty lounge. The salad bar, while diverse, wasn’t very fresh, and seemed (like everything else) to cater to the much older clientele. Disadvantages aside, the entrees were very fresh and very tasty and every employee there was very nice and made you feel very welcomed. Overall, I won’t be going back.

The salad bar is a huge disappointment!

Excellent service. Great food. I don’t know if I’d call the salad bar gourmet like they do, but it was all homemade, fresh and delicious! Bread came with 3 types of butter including one with curry. Entrees were awesome.
