Guacamole was dark green and old. Taco meat was cold and greasy. Taco shell was hard and stale.
I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews but I would have to say the nay-sayers are wrong. Great food and we sat outside for a great atmosphere. My wife and daughter had the fish tacos and the fish piece was huge and quite tasty. I had a chimichanga which was quite tasty. I would absolutely recommend this place.
We got there 11:45am monday …. We got there 11:45am mondaySeated promptly ordered a nacho grande and it was loaded and perfect !2 of us couldn’t finish itNice outdoor seatingFountains etc
Dont know where this place got the idea they were serving Tex-Mex but they are very wrong. First off salsa is NOT just a mound of chopped onions and tomatoes with no juice and picante sauce is NOT sour cream … it doesn’t even have it in it! These people don’t have a clue!! Other than that food was bland and tasteless. Service ok but it was early Sunday so not crowded. Transplanted Texan still looking for a good Tex-Mex meal.
It’s hard to go wrong with Mexican. Never been to a Mexican restaurant that charged for chips and salsa. The chips and cheese was a joke. Same thing you might get at the movie theatre or ball game. Food was adequate. Service was good.
I went there because it was walking diatance from my hotel. I ordered a coke and chicken tortilla soup. The only good thing was the coke. The tortilla soup was tomato soup with chicken and cheese in it. Service was good, however wait staff wasn’t surprised I left after eating less than a quarter of my meal. My recommendation, when in Marco Island walk by this restaurant
Would avoid…. Ordered combo fajitas (steak and chicken). Steak tough. Peppers not well cooked. Lots of onions. Nice offering of guac, etc but overall very disappointing. People were friendly and helpful but this could not overcome the poor food.DaVinci’s, in the same plaza, is a better choice.
