Is it a color thing still?. Took a few days to get away from the city and headed to Marco Island. Had a great time on the beach. Found a place called Nene’s and thought that i would eat there and see what the great reviews were all about. I got there i was the only black guy there and it was fine with m e because i wasn’t raised to hate or discriminate. But it took about 20 minutes to get a table and over 30 minutes just for breakfast and it was just me and a friend.l, meanwhile, every customer that came after us was already eating. Hopefully the owners and staff members can see the bigger picture. I will not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. I’m also a business owner and i believe in great service for alll. You never know who will visit your establishment.
Great food better service. We had 30 minutes for breakfast so we stopped in here. Pretty busy but seated right away. Coffee showed up, we split eggs Benny and we were on our way in 25 minutes. Good home cooking and friendly smiles. Hoora.
Best breakfast on Marco. WAY better than Doreen’s Cup Of Joe. Good prices, great food, friendly servers. Unlike Doreen’s, the owners aren’t fools.
We come to Marco Island every year –NeNe’s is a must. Never had a bad meal -Everything always FRESH. Love The Vegie Wrap.
We tried to try this place since my Father n Mother inlaw use to visit this place frequently. My Wife tried a Vegetarian Skillet and I had a Wonderful Salad. Will definitely go back!
I went to NeNe’s 2 days in a row and both times had problems with my order . The 1st day I got food that was burnt & the 2nd day food that was underdone. I also ordered their special potato & cheese as an alternative to their hash browns. It was completely tasteless & bland. My husband had their pancakes and he thought they were fair but not great. We eat out often, so we’ve had lots of opportunity for comparison . I’d say the food at NeNe’s is good to fair, but nothing to shout about.
Wonderful little place with great food, good prices and WONDERFUL service.
