OMG!!! The sunken treasure and strawberry cheesecake ice creams were amazing!!!!! While on vacation last week in marco island my family stumbled upon sweet Annie’s on our way back from dinner and loved it so much that we went back all four nights we were there. It’s set up like an old fashioned ice cream parlour an the workers were very nice and remembered us every night. The portions were very generous and well worth the price. I have nothing but high praises for this delicious local treasure. I can’t wait until we come back next year for some more:)
Spectacular. I always bring my kids there. The new ownership has re-vamped the place and it looks great. The staff are always wonderful and the ice cream is always cold!!!
I LOVE this ice cream store, and I’m so pleased that they have new management. It is so clean. Very kid friendly, and great ice cream. I can never go to Marco and not go to Sweet Annies!! Also, LOVE the price compared to cold stone and others!! Keep up the excellent service guys!!!!
Great New Store!. My wife and I stopped in, as we do everyyear to get ice cream and discovered that the store is under new management this year. The place looks great! they have added more seating and the employees are wonderfull!!! A defintie two thumbs up, best Ice Cream on marco Island
Not enough flavors to choose from. And I don’t want a sundae I just want a scoop of ice cream…. And I do not want to pay over 5 dollars to get it. I also do not want a bunch of dollar store junk to look at. By the way, I am a local, who would have loved to have this place be great because it is down the street from my house.:(
What people, the majority of whom are not locals, don’t understand is that Sweet Annie’s is a Marco Island classic. The owner of this stylish ice cream and candy shop/game and toy emporium hires enthusiastic college students who are glad to carry on a conversation with you once it has been initiated. The owner of Sweet Annie’s, unlike many shop owners today, can also be seen serving ice cream and working the cash register with a big smile on his face. He’s very friendly as are his (previously mentioned) employees. I have been patronizing Sweet Annie’s since I was a little kid and can proudly say I have never been disappointed.
Waaaaay overpriced for mediocre at best ice cream.
