A Pretty Good Mexican Restaurant. I haven’t eaten at La Bamba for about a year until tonight. I was happy to see that nothing has changed. This restaurant provides Mexican food for the pan-Latin American community of Broward County. They also serve a Latin American take on a few Spanish dishes like paella. Their Mexican food tastes good, unlike many other so-called Mexican restaurants in the area (e.g. Tijuana Taxi). Everything I have eaten at La Bamba tastes good, tacos, enchiladas etc. Is it REAL Mexican food, the food eaten (anywhere) in Mexico? OF COURSE NOT. Where in the U.S. can you get the tacos and tortas of the taquerias of Mexico City in the 60’s? Do these foods exist anywhere, even in Mexico? I certainly would not know where to find them in the U.S., even in California and Texas, and they definitely cannot be found in South Florida. Despite that, this is good (though unhealthy) food, served in very large portions, in a lively environment, frequently with long lines though surprisingly short waits.By the way, there is an incredibly cheap early bird that is available until 6
Amazing. Been going here with my family for over 10 years-the food is just amazing. The salsa is as fresh and tasty as it can get. Get the FAJITAS-seriously amazing food. Chimichangas, grilled chicken, burritos and guacamole are the best I ever had. Surprisingly- if you just want a burger-they are really good here too. Staff and owners (family I think) are nice and friendly. JUST GO!!!!!

I’ve been coming here since they opened over ten years ago. Food is exactly the same as it was when they opened delicious. Its loud and crowded, but worth the wait. Margarita’s are made in slushy machine and they have a full bar.
Best In Broward!. I’ve been eating at La Bamba for at least a year now and I love it! My favorite dish is the Fiesta Combination, it’s $12 and there is enough for me to feed myself, girlfriend, and my 2 year old and all of us still feel like we ate too much! The taste is unrivaled to me, not just in Broward, but so far no place I have been to yet is better. The staff are very friendly and it is VERY rare for an error to occur. The salsa chips usually draw me to dine in, but if you need something fast you can call them and place an order over the phone and then pick it up and go! I hope they continue to offer such great food and service, it’s very hard to find both.
Big portions! Quality ingredients! Ive gone multiple times and recommend the fajitas, quesadilla, burritos, chicken soup and of course the margaritas. Good restaurant for families with kids or big groups. 🙂 thumbs up!
Fried Icecream?. When you crave Mexican…don’t even think about going somewhere else! The Chimichanga is to die for…but the Fried Icecream is what sets this off the charts. They have mastered it. Consistent and delicious, two qualities that I look for in restaurants.
