Seafood Pho. Excellent!!
Light and delightful.. My adventurous husband took me to this fine establishment. We split an appetizer of a rice noodle wrapped BBQ, served with Thai peanut dipping sauce. So refreshing. Bold mint leaves make the dish burst with flavor. I had a simple curry and chicken dish. The flavors were nice, the food well cooked and portioned. I’m hazy on the details, but we’ve been there twice and have enjoyed it both times. We went for lunch, pleased that they were open. I really like the images from Vietnam. It helped me understand the culture a little more. The host was endearing. The fish tank entertaining. Hope you try it out for yourself!
Just what we wanted.. We hadn’t had Vietnamese cuisine in a long time. So long in fact we’d forgotten the menu items. The owner came to our table and explained a variety of dishes until we made a decision. We ordered the noodle dishes with lemongrass chicken and pork. They were just the kind of flavors we were looking for. The mix of noodles, meats, and fresh vegetable and spices was delicious. The owner and server were very friendly. We’re looking forward to going back. BTW, it was recommended by our neighbors. So that’s four thumbs up.
Extensive menu, great food, and big portions. Friendly but slow service. Seems to be family owned and operated so if it’s busy expect to wait, but the food is well worth the wait.
Used to be better. This place used to be my favorite viet restaurant in sfl. but over the last couple of years, i noticed a slight altering in . seems like they now cater to the more americanized taste buds, perhaps as a justification to a higher charge as compared to other viet cusines (which now taste more authentic). what a shame
Wonderful Food. This is a simple Vietnamese restaurant, but one with an extensive menu. The food is wonderful and completely authentic. This is a place for people who want real Vietnamese food, not some American variation. I have eaten in restaurants with a similar type of food all over the country, but surprisingly this is the very best.I usually only write reviews of problematic restaurants, but this oen is SO good that it deserves a boost.S
So good and reasonable prices! The Pho is amazing!
