My husband uses this place as the measure for every cheese steak he eats. While the cheese fries are sad pale sticks drowned in a sea of yellow, all the sandwiches are downright tasty. Ask to have your bun toasted to give it more flavor. So grab a sandwich here and get your fries at Rebel House and you’ll have your junk food bases covered.
Not too shabby…. I hope you are a Steelers fan…or that you can tolerate staring at ALLLLL the paraphernalia! I think it’s pretty cool to see die-hard fans…no matter what the team is! Okay..back to business. The place is in a not so nice area and really is a dive. Just remember, don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I have been several times in the past and will say that the cheese steaks are pretty darn good. I also tried the Belview Burger (grilled with creamy peanut butter)…it was interesting! Do yourself a favor (if you like some heat) and try Spanky’s Habanero or Cayenne Garlic Sauce…yummy!If you’re a cheese steak freak like me, keep a lookout for my other reviews. I found another place that is really good!
Great. I worked in a philly steak joint as a teenager and have been a devoted fan of the sandwiches ever since. Easily one of my top 3 cheesesteak experiences ever. The cheese mixture and juices melded together perfectly. The roll was soft and crusty. I’ll be back everytime I pass through Margate.
Great Food, Great Price!. I have been a customer of Spanky’s for many years. They are one of the few restaurants that delivers to my condominium in Margate. The personnel are patient, respectful and very helpful. Their food is freshly prepared, delivered hot, and is delicious. What more could one want? I feel like I am back in my Manhattan apartment ordering food delivery when I call. I highly recommend Spanky’s!
