Another favorite venue! Chef Dave puts out some fantastic food. Check out the ‘Steam Shack’ beachside, it’s Florisiana cuisine & very fresh, you order at the window & can eat outside by the fire pit if you want. Or you can dine upstairs where there’s a different menu. The steak & salmon are both delish!!! There’s always good live music too.
This is an OK place to go if you are wanting to hang out on the lake with some friends and an expensive beer, but if you are looking for quality, delicious soul food — you will be let down. Yes, the area is nice, but the food has been of inexcusable quality the last two times that I have been here (poorly seasoned, cooked and with truly undesirable texture). It is very hit or miss and within the price point, you cannot justify such inconsistence.
Not worth the money.. I was disappointed with the overall food quality, prices, and staff. The food was bland and tasted like it was fresh from the freezer. My friend and I each ordered a glass of Sangria before ordering our meals. We were shocked at the high price! Our waitress was slow & seemed unhappy to be there. Don’t waist your time & money just for a nice view.
First time & enjoyed it. Nice view of he lake & decent menu. Bit pricey for the area but they have a happy hour. Try to time it off season or mid day otherwise you’ll wait.
Just another Florida tourist trap. Very, very disappointed.SLOW to get our food. The table next to us that sat down AFTER us got their food first! What?Food ho-hum, not anything to write home about. We ordered 2 of the $10.00 choices of sandwiches and they were not worth the money.The cole slaw was terrible tasting too! Warm and acrid. Had a very bitter and sharply unpleasant taste. Hope I don’t get sick. I just ate it this afternoon!Don’t waste your money unless you just want to come and look at the young beach bodies.
Awesome food! Had the 3cbs Mac n cheese and it was delicious! Service was great she was sweet and delightful (chyrell was her name I believe) my husband had the shrimp and grits and that was wonderful as well.
I wish it would have been better. We just had an all around bad experience, the Mahi sandwich was awful and the 9.99 plain burger wasn’t much better. the kids mac and cheese was tasteless and my son didn’t touch it after one bite. The waitress was slow and kept forgetting things. $45 for lunch, too much to spend, not enough enjoyment for sure.
