Jim’s is Just…OK. As noted in other reviews, Jims is part of a gas station/store complex. Everything is very basic. Thats all OK if the barbecue stands up on its own. Unfortunately, there is nothing special here. The Brunswick stew was OK, the ribs were too soft and fatty. There is no charm or atmosphere like you might expect at some quirky, small-town barbecue joint. Its all just there and you can take it or leave it.I think that well drive on to someplace else on our next trip up or down I-75.
