I was pleasantly surprised w/ the food. I had fried shrimp and it was excellent!! Not greasy at all and the hush puppies had a lot of flavor. The staff was friendly, especially Connar, when we paid our bill, gave us recommendations for next time. A lot of food for your money. My only suggestion would be a steak other than ribeye (although it was tasty and cooked perfectly) a sirloin would be fine doesn’t have to be filet.
Villager, at Summerfield Sam’s St John’s. Great seafood! Prepared right every time. Hard working waitresses and staff. Obviously more than capable kitchen staff. Fair prices and the best specials. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Haven’t been to the Ocala location yet.
Greasy fried slop. I ordered the variety platter which has six different seafood items. It was a greasy pile of battered deep fried slop. I couldn’t even tell which items were the scallops and the oysters. The so called crab cake was the worst I ever had.
Mmmmm Mmmmm good. Great place to eat. The staff is very friendly. Their shrimp are the best I have eaten in the state of Florida.

Summerfield resident. Took some relatives from Michigan and they thought the shrimp were the best they have ever had. We love going there at least 2 or 3 times a month.
