Our first trip to Terry’s was fantastic, good food, good service but today we too were embarrassed for our guests. We were a party of 4, 3 women and one man, we told our guests how great this place is…the waitress did bring menus and our drinks right away, she came back in about 5-6 minutes for our order, a party of 6-8people near us was just being seated and asked her about putting tables together, she left our table and helped them, it was not her table either as another waitress waited on them, she then returned to finish taking our order…simple order, burger & fries, chicken salad and shrimp basket, it took almost 25 minutes to get our food yet the big party that she helped seat had their food about 10 minutes before us. She finally brought our food, it was fine but she NEVER returned to ask how it was or if we wanted anything else, when she brought our bill she simply laid it on the table & walked away, needless to say she got a $1 tip, 3 of us have worked jobs where tips were a big part of our income so we are good tippers. She did not have a name tag on but we were there at lunch time,on 11/10/15she was an older woman, very thin with glasses, not the least bit friendly, seemed put off that she had to be working. We will return but will be sure NOT to get her as a waitress…

Man Sized Burger for Real Men. Need I say more, Terry’s Place offers up something that many claim but, fail to produce, a big juicy delicious burger. So big you can’t wrap your hands around it. So big they make fresh buns daily to house it in. Not just any bun but, after years and years of searching, I’m going on a limb to call it the perfect bun..a perfect balance. A bun so fresh it sticks to your teeth. A bun that nicely compliments and doesn’t distract from the 1 lb. cooked to order fresh all beef perfectly seasoned burger. Served with all the fixings and all of it for an unbelievable price of $7.99! And it doesn’t stop there. The onion rings are perfectly battered, seasoned and cooked. Once again the perfect balance. Not to salty, greesey or overly breaded. I entered cautiously optimistic after reading reviews and left delighted! My experience was pleasant and my waitress was friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back!
Embarassed for our guests. We were sorely disappointed today in our experience at terry’s. It took over an hour to get our food. The waitress was inattentive and when confronted about our order, she said that kitchen, because we were a table of nine, makes us wait and does the smaller orders first. So people all around us who came in after us were being waited on. She then made some lame excuse that they only have 2 fryers and need them for wing orders and everything else has to wait. We are generally above average tippers and thought 10% was even too much for this young woman. However when 2 in the party were standing waiting to pay she made them wait even longer so she could input an order into the computer. Ergo, she was tipless from these 4 people. Management need to take a closer look at the kitchen and their wait staff. Every customer should be important.
AWESOME. Went last night had the fish and shrimp, which was awesome, so much food…! Had enough leftovers to eat again tonight! Loved the place!
Disappointed. Terry’s has always been a good place to eat. Went there last night and they were out of all steaks except for their porterhouse. Very disappointed! Are they having a problem?
Burgers. The burgers at this place are fantastic. Great food!
