CONSISTENT QUALITY FOOD – HIGH LEVEL CHEF!. 11 Maples is defines the word gourmet. The duck cook medium is delicious, not fatty and cuts like butter. The gravy is yummy making every bit an epicurean delight. All the vegetables are crisp and the parsnip mash is tasty. We have gone many times. Highly recommend 11 Maple. It is worth every penny! My husband orders the venison and feels the same. The meals are so consistent and delicious every time we go. It is our romantic date place.

Delicious Tapas and Wine. 11 Maple Street is gorgeously cozy. It is decorated beautifully, and is a very comfortable place to have a meal. It is not stuffy, loud, and chaotic like many busy restaurants tend to be. We loved their variety of tapas style plates they offer. They also have a great wine list. I recommend this family owned and run establishment to everyone!

Presentation, Taste, Atmosphere. Enjoyed my birthday dinner last night. Five of us shared 9 small plates. We were stuffed without having dessert. Everything was heavenly and presented beautifully. Our favorites were the Kurobuta Pork Ribs, Wagyu Hanger Steak, Caicos Conch and Focaccia. Other very noteworthy plates included Calamari salad, Soft shell crabs, calamari fritters and greens with Point Reyes Bleu cheese. We ordered our appetizers from the small plates, then made our entre decisions. Portions on the bottom of the small plates are a normal serving. Everyone in our party were impressed, nothing was less than a 5 star taste. Service is impeccable.

What a great meal!. My girlfriend and I went here for our anniversary. We found the menu to be well thought out, imaginative, and quite varied. The menu is divided into small plates and large in order to try the most things possible, we went with small plates. We had the field greens salad, the sauted skate wing, the Caicos conch, black rice and calamari fritters, the kurobota pork ribs, the wagyu hangar steak, and the mango pear crisp for dessert.Everything was very good. I especially appreciated the quality of the ingredients. The chef has clearly tasted many different products that could potentially be included, and selected the best ones. For example, the pecans tasted strongly of pecans, much more flavorful than anything you could get in the supermarket. The blue cheese was incredible, so flavorful yet mild enough that you could eat a big chunk of it. The olive oil was the best I’ve ever tasted, very fruity and with very little acidity and absolutely no bitterness. You pay a lot, but you are paying for quality and for a chef whose gone through a lot of bad products so he could find the best. That’s not to say the food was absolutely perfect, however. The scallops didn’t have a proper sear all the way around, although they were still the best scallops I’ve ever had because they were such high quality. That was the only thing wrong. I agree with the ratings that put the food just shy of perfect. Please keep in mind that we are dealing with very high quality food here, and we’re being very picky. This blows every other restaurant around out of the water.I found the service to be adequate. It was slightly slow, and I almost felt ignored at times, as it took forever for them to come to us. We were the first ones seated and one of the last to be addressed. I like to think that they were trying to avoid rushing me. They served the meal in courses, and in the appropriate order. – salad and fritters, seafood, meat, then dessert. That’s ensuring the customer has an enjoyable experience and doing so in a smart way. We had refills on our water and old plates were removed in a timely manner. They were happy to box up some ribs that we just could not finish. I feel a bit uncouth asking for a box in a restaurant like this, but hey – these ribs were waaaaaaay too good (and expensive) to feed to a trash can!The ambiance was good. It was a cute little old house. I thought it was a bit hot in there, and I think they may have overheard us talking about it and kicked on the AC, because it got better after about 10 minutes. The chairs at the table were pretty uncomfortable, wicker so they put that indentation on your skin and were difficult to get out of. I did notice confederate jasmine growing outside and I hope to return in spring when it blooms and eat outside to enjoy the smell. Yes, this place is quite expensive, and that’s the only reason I’ve been as nitpicky in this review. However, I did not find it to be overpriced. For the quality of food it is worth it. You owe it to yourself to try this out for very special occasions, unless you’re fabulously wealthy and can afford to come here every night. 😉

Loved it!!!. Excellent cozy restaurant. Heather (waitress) is very knowledgeable on each of the menu’s various options. We had the beet salad to start and then ordered the crab cake as well as the warm escarole salad. The beet salad is amazing but it doesn’t take away from the others small plates we ordered.Wine selection is very good as well with over 20+ bottles to chose from french reds as well as many american, south american and european vintages.
