My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We decided to eat downstairs. There were only three tables that were occupied with about 8 or so other tables unoccupied. The problem was that all the empty tables were filthy with food, dishes and napkins left over from whoever ate there last. No one in sight even trying to bus the tables. We turned around and walked out. If they can’t even keep the tables clean then I wouldn’t trust what’s going on in the kitchen.

Nope, never again. Over priced, mediocre food.Staff more interested in their social life than taking care of the customers adequateely. Taled about dates and personal issues while customers were waiting to be seated as well as taking orders. The one positive was the view from our table.

Blech. The food was so gross. Huge portions, fun for the kids who get to see the chef make food in front of you. But really, not good food. Big portions, however, if that matters to you.

Terrible. Just terrible. The food is underwhelming at best. Nice show and all, but the terrible food combined with the horrible service made for a very disappointing dinner.

No Thank You. We visited Benihana on a Monday evening and were quoted a wait time of 90 minutes. Wow! Since we’re from out of town and had a $30 birthday voucher that was about to expire we waited. We were directed to the lounge and headed down to grab some drinks. We waited around 10 minutes before anyone even approached us. The staff were friendly though and gave good recommendations for sushi. The Benihana Punch is really good. The crunchy roll and vegas roll were also very tasty. An hour later we were taken to our table by a less than friendly host. We waited for a while before the waitress finally showed up. Service was really slow, but they were also packed. One thing I did notice, all the chefs I saw were Latin, as were most of the servers. Not a big deal, just kind of funny. One thing that did trouble me was that our server and chef kept talking to each other in Spanish. That really bothers me. Our server was also apparently friends with one of the customers at our table. You couldn’t help but notice that they got a lot of attention. The chef was nice enough, but the food was extremely lacking. The salad and dressing were awful, we couldn’t even finish it. The shrimp was overcooked, and the rice, chicken and veggies were mostly flavorless. My husbands steak was extremely undercooked. We noticed the other customer that was friends with the waitress complained about their steak after the meal was over and had their meal comped. We were overcharged for one of our drinks, and they never brought the dessert that came with our meals. Even with the $30 birthday voucher our meal was overpriced. Happy hour drinks and sushi are the only reason we would even consider returning to Benihana.

Treat yourselft at Benihana. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Great waterfront dining in Stuart. The sushi was excellent and so was the surf and turf.

Ambiance tough to beat!. Decor indoors was that of a typical Benihana. However, This restaurant is located riverside with great view of a garden and trail leading down to the river where we sat and took some photos after dinner. I ate in the lounge during happy hour with half price drinks, rolls, pieces, etc. Our server was attentive and made some great recommendations about how to get our money’s worth. Our sushi was fresh, wine and sake were great ways to add to the dishes. Go here for this deal!
