Went here with my husband and a friend.Shared an appetizer of spicy conch ceviche. The flavors overwhelmed the conch. Not a pleasant taste. My husband had chimichurri chicken with fried plantains and beans and rice. Not particularly flavorful, but not too bad. My friend had Seafood Trinidad which was very tasty. I had the Caribean Shrimp with garlic and lemon served over rice and crisp veggies. Delicious! Our waiter was great and removed the charge for the ceviche when we told him we didn’t like it. The assistant server was very gracious.Ambiance was great. Casual Florida.
Nice place, very good intertaitment, and not to loud. Wine list not impressive. Fish was good salmon, cod, crabe the the fish pasta only ok the pasta where overcook. Pricing decentReturn March/2/2017Wine list still need improvement. The food is decent and served hot. Pricing still within reason.
I love this restaurant in terms of food, location, service and atmosphere. Olde Florida at its very best. Was very surprised at the bad reviews.
One word: YUCK. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Just YUCK.
Nothing special. Went with my wife the other night, was a full moon and we were looking for a good view. The conch choder was good,but nothing to write home about.The alligator tid bits appetizer was actually very good though. I ordered the N.Y. strip. A very thin cut ($26) as it turned out and way overcooked. Sent it backThe rest of the food was average,but stick with he seafood.It’s gotten kind of touristy here though. You will be sorry. Great Views bad food good happy hour …..dont even think about the food! Eat elsewhere! Tried this place on too many occasions….never again !
