I will never return here. Most disrespectful staff ever. Whatever you get you better make sure you like, because if you don’t like it & don’t eat it they still won’t take it off the bill for you. Owners are rude, especially the woman. Go to mulligans or conchy joes or tony Roma’s instead, it will be worth it!

Stopped there after being on the beach and was surprised how spacious it was. From the street it’s very deceiving but it has a great outdoor area that just keeps going back much further than you would expect. Enjoyed the music and tha nachos were awesome. Definitely on our list to return again.

Good service, chips & salsa were good, the live was enjoyable.

Subpar to previous ratings, beware. If this is what the locals call great, then they sincerely need to travel more! The food was poorly prepared, moody waitress and OMG when that train went by we couldn’t hear for several minutes. It’s a hole in the wall that would never make to DDD. They have nothing to rave about with subpar food, no liquor. only Beer & Wine. Not for the Martini or cocktail lovers sloppy appetizers and overcooked meat bordering shoeleather . We will not be going back. I don’t think half the reviews of Konas are real, the food is that bad and service with a bad attitude.

Needs some tender loving. Kona Beach Cafe is rustic and not for every one. Recently while eating there it sounded like a train was passing through the center of the restaurant. Train tracks run parallel with the street out front. Gave us a moments cause for concern, when the whistle blew. There is a bar out front and a series of out door tables under the canopy of palm trees. Quite quaint, accept for the litter out back. They have a pretty extensive menu and a person should be able to find something worthwhile to eat. Portions are big. I ordered a bowl of Chili and my friend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. She had more than she could eat and I left a good portion of mine. I was disappointed in the chili, it never tasted like chili…..where is the seasoning? She said her sandwich was good, but too big to pick up, and was unable to cut it with a plastic knife. Service was fine and of course I like the rustic out door feel but…….curb appeal needs work. A pile of garbage sat outside right in front of parking.

Good food and nice atmosphere.. Have been there several times and have enjoyed it every time. Good food and service. The owners are there most of time and are very nice. I will be back again!

They definitely have the ambience. For vegetarians, the choices are limited but there is a veg meatball sub that works. (nothing to write home about). Sangeia is great! It’s a good place to chill after a beach day.
