I had a 3 combo dish, and enjoyed the generous portion and the fresh fish. Service was good and pleasant. The restaurant is renovating the outside patio, which will give a different feel to the place.
We are locals, you know, the people that keep restaurants in business during off peak season. We ate at the Jensen Beach location today, as we do at least once a week. I ordered the Grouper Tacos, first one was good the second one the fish tasted rancid…I let the waitress know that something was wrong with it and moments later the owner came out shoving globs of fish in his mouth telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about and that he would comp the meal…all I wanted was to let them know that some of their fish may be starting to spoil. Instead all the owner accomplished was ensuring that we will never return to any of the Mulligans restaurants as he owns all of them. Food is normally good, customer service sucks…never going back!!!!
The experience here was ruined when our blonde, female server sneakily padded the bill, then wanted to argue and make me seem cheap for questioning it. I don’t mind paying for what I want, but I do mind these kind of surprises. My friends and I will not be returning.
Coldwater Lobster Roll with Melted Butter. Only lobster meat (not lobster salad) in a hot dog-type roll served warm with hot melted butter poured over lobster. Fries and/or cole slaw would be good with it. In New England these rolls sell between $15 and $20 depending on the type of restaurant and what is served with it.
Unpleasant bartenders, poor food
Pretty good. This is a great place to go for breakfast. It looks like a nice little cafe but…Surprise!!! It is not: it is a rather large restaurant with an absolute ton of space. Looked like at least six different areas to eat at, just counting the inside. 1) food quality: quite good2) service: great3) prices/serving sizes: not so greatI enjoyed the food quite a bit, it was very tasty. The service was great and the size of the dishes were a little bigger than I thought they would be. So that was awesome. However, the prices were definitely high. For a place like Jensen (which has 101 restaurants listed here), it seems like the prices ought to be a little more competitive.Overall, it was a good experience, a B.
Good value and relaxing atmosphere. Came to the Treasure Coast area last May for vacation and ate here twice. Moved to the Treasure Coast recently and have come back several times. The food is always good, nice and hot and served quickly. Our waiters (have had the same young man twice lately) are personable and super attentive. Our choice for a relaxing meal when we go to the nearby beaches.
