Favorite local restaurant. This is our family’s favorite restaurant in the area. We eat here a few times a month. They have great food and generous portion sizes. We often finish off the food even if we’re full because it’s just that good. Always affordable, lunch or dinner. There are coupons in local magazines for a few dollars off and they’ll take them every time, even if they’re expired. We are always waited on and served quickly with a smile. We are immediately brought fresh, warm tortilla chips and salsa. They have a few different salsas they can bring out. They know our kids like the mild and we like the hot, so they always bring us both. Love the pop of cilantro in it. Everything is always hot and fresh. They don’t mind substituting sides. My husband always skips the rice and goes for a double portion of their great beans. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. This restaurant is always clean. And I’m extremely picky about public bathrooms…
Nice atmosphere. Staff was courteous and prompt. Salsa was watery and bland. My chicken chimichanga was nicely seasoned, but was more like a burrito, certainly not deep fried. Quesadilla was tasty but soggy, and the churros tasted frozen. I would not go back again.07 Jul, 2013Nice atmosphere. Staff was friendly and prompt. Salsa was watery and bland. Chicken was well seasoned, but my chimichanga was more like a burrito-certainly not deep fried. Churros tasted frozen, definitely have had better. kids’ quesadilla, although tasty was soggy. Not highly recommended-
Very disappointing. Salsa watered down chips wouldnt stay on tortilla. Chicken burrito was tough, red sauce was watered down and guacamole was barely visible about 1 tsp. Very disappointing. Will not be back.
Great Food!. I’ve eaten here several times and thought the food and service were great!….
Viva Pueblo Viejo. I have eaten in all three restaurants on the Treasure Coast, and the decor is very similar. Bright and cheerful like a Fiesta. You are greeted with welcoming service from the moment you step through the door. The food is also consistently delicious in all three locations. Thin, hot tortilla chips and an excellent salsa start off your dining pleasure, but don’t fill up on them because you will want to eat every bite of your meal. I love the Chicken Chimichanga. It is so crispy on the outside, and filled with big chunks of white chicken breast and cheese. I always ask for a little extra sour cream. Both the re-fried beans and the ranchero beans are delicious. Prices are reasonable and the meals are satisfying. Don’t forget to try the fried ice cream. It’s a treat! Moe’s seems to be the trendy Mexican restaurant, but Moe’s is like fast food Mexican compared to Pueblo Viejo’s authentic Mexican comfort food. I highly recommend all three Pueblo Viejo restaurants here on the Treasure Coast of Florida.
Terrible! Should have bought Doritos and cheap salsa I would have been less disappointed. The food was splayed on the plate like dog food and totally bland. Nothing like the other Pueblo in Pt. St. Lucie
Awesome. Ingredients are fresh, burritos are BIG and full of flavor. The spanish rice is incredible. This is a small start up business. Moe’s tortillas are too thick and the rice is subpar, Chipolte is a commercialized version. These guys care about the food, product and customers. We will be back.
