Pleasantly surprised. Quiet, intimate atmosphere, which is a welcome change from typical chains. This isn’t the typical pasta and red sauce menu choices that are the norm for most Italian restaurants. Food was very good and fresh, wait staff were very efficient and personable. My friend and I both had 3 course offerings, which we both enjoyed. Will definitely be back
Italian Authenticity At Its Finest!. After a voyage to Tuscany this year, I worried that coming back to the Melbourne area would be an exercise in Italian Cuisine futility. The food in Italy was amazing, how would I ever enjoy Florida Italian again? Stop! Hold the presses! News flash! Bacco Wine Cafe is Authentic, Spotless, Friendly…and Wow….this food is as close to Tuscany as I could ever need. The owners are FROM Italy, I believe the Florence area. Food is made fresh and exciting daily! The wine selection is excellent, and if you’ve been to the Tuscan Vineyards, you know just how incredible it can be. Prices are slightly more then generic Italian in the Melbourne area…. So my suggestion is to give Bacco a try VERY soon. It’s intimate, it’s romantic…. It’s fun and it’s Damn good!
Best Italian restaurant I have ever been to. I have been to Bacco a couple of times. Every time I have been I have been amazed by how delicious my food was. I went recently and decided to leave a review. I had two servers(Martin and Rebecca) that were absolutely wonderful and very helpful. My order started with a Bolognese as the first course meal and for the second course meal I ordered the Beef Tenderloin. The food was cooked perfectly and was full of flavor. With my wine that was recommend from the restaurant owner(Loris) the tenderloin was phenomenal. I have been to many Italian restaurants all over the United States and I must tell you this one is still my favorite. The ambiance of the restaurant is very cozy and warm. The paintings are subtle and energizing. The lighting is just right. I truly do love this restaurant.
Impressive!. This place is such a hidden gem! Glad we got the opportunity to try it. The orange chicken is like nothing I’ve ever had before- a divine combination. The quality & careful attention to each dish was very much appreciated. Enjoyable atmosphere. Quaint but classy. Will be back to this lovely family owned restaurant!
Great and getting better. We went last night for our fourth visit and had another excellent meal. The first time we went was with a Groupon special and the restaurant was brand new. At that time it appeared to be a husband and wife running the restaurant with some kitchen help. It has been great to watch them grow into a restaurant that has it all happening. The menu is innovative and priced well. The wine selection is very good and priced well. The service is impeccable and accommodating, the owners daughter waited on us last night. Not your typical Italian restaurant.I’ve eaten here about ten times now and the place is a favorite. The staff is mostly family. I really find it odd that they never acknowledge that I am a regular or that I have even been there before. Not a big deal but strange because it is a small place.
Food was good. Intimate atmosphere, not for families. A little pricey but definitely fresh delicious food. Make a reservation, just in case! Great service, too!
I have gone by this place many times and didnt realize it was a restaurant. My boyfriend and I went last night and it was phenomenal! It was very clear that the food is made fresh when you order and the difference is worth the price. My boyfriend had the carbonara and it was exceptional! I had one of the specials, the crab ravioli that came in marinara sauce. I was expecting a heavy kind of spaghetti sauce but it wasn’t. It was a very simple tomato sauce that was made fresh and complimented the ravioli. I also ordered the chocolate mousse and was again surprised. I was expecting a very light, airy mousse but this had some substance to it and was amazing with the strawberries that came with it. An amazing dining experience. Wish I’d realized it was a restaurant years ago!
