Going down hill. As long time customers I am proud to say that we will never go back again…the food had gone down hill to be barely fit for human consumption. After 4 bad experiences.. I would avoid bunkys if I had the choice
Waiter was perfect – fast, polite, friendly, complete with tattooed legs. Very relaxed beachy atmosphere. Great ambiance with huge salt and freshwater tanks throughout the place. Raw Florida Clams were perfect small size. Creamy New England Chowder with just the right touch of white wine. Two large screen TVs and two medium size TVs. Prices very reasonable and ample portions. Try the loaded potato skins!!! Will definitely be going back.
Whenever we are in the area we MUST eat at Bunkys. Best oysters, great shrimp, best fish dip, great beer and drink specials. I was sitting next to a guy from Hollywood, FL, last week who felt the same way. In 20 years I’ve always had good food here!

Great Oysters
Our Go To for Dinner. We don’t eat dinner out much anymore but when we do this place is hard to beat. Good prices and good food. We’ve had salad to wings to grilled fish entrees and not been disappointed. It doesn’t hurt either that we walk across the street to it, so we love the location. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Appletini drinkers need not apply. Their wings are honestly better than the Anchor Bar’s and the oysters are great. If you are not a real-man then you probably won’t like this place. However, if you like sports, wings, Charles Bronson movies, cold beer, hunting exotic game, surfing at Shipstern Bluff, bullriding, muscle cars, fishing, and can taste the difference between bourbon and whiskey, then you are going to love this place.
