For the record, it is a local dive type bar. So it is loud and Smoky. However, that being said, the food, for a bar, is outstanding! The homemade chips with the balsamic vinaigrette or the salsa are to-die-for! The burgers are excellent! If you can deal with the smokey side of things and the noise, there is good food.
Good calzones and pizza, you can get get a slice or a whole pie depending on how you’re feeling. Good bar with lots of seating and room. Frequently has live music and a weekly vintage car night where the locals fill the parking lot with their restored hot rods. Not the best sports bar though, they showed the History Channel while the NBA Finals was on one night.
This place is addicting. There are many places downtown, from bars to restaurants, but Lou’s filling station is more than that, this place is now serving pizza and is freaking delicious, they have a great atmosphere and events almost every night, if u haven’t been here, I think you should check it out!!!! You won’t regret it 🙂
