This was my first visit to The Mansion, and only visit to date. I had a Medallion Steak Sandwich for late lunch. The sandwich was fair but if I go back I think I will try one of their other offerings — maybe a burger or salad. My husband had a Fried Chicken Sandwich that looked pretty good.Because I was with a large group (over 30), we were seated outside under a covered patio with ceiling fans. It was a hot and humid day. There was no cooled air and the few fans were just barely moving air around, so I think more fans are needed. I don’t deal well with too much heat.
A nice ambiance and lunch was very tasty just took a little longer then expected . They have a lovely patio area, in addition to air conditioned bar and restaurant areas. A good section of liquor and interesting menu so I will go back.
The staff was decently friendly ; however, the avocado on my burger was completely brown. They tried to hide it by placing cheese on top. It would have been proffered that they simply stated they didn’t have avocados to use that day. The fried crab legs gave my friend food poisoning all night. I had been here before but they are now under new ownership.
OMG! What a gem in Melbourne We enjoyed everything about this restaurant: the wait staff was knowledgeable & attentive; the food was fresh & creative; the property was interesting & offered varied experiences. YUM YUM YUM!
Everytime my husband and I have cone to the mansion, the service and food have been consistently great. From the tacos, salmon, beef, and especially drinks, they’ve been good. The prices aren’t crazy expensive but if you’re expecting applebee’s prices, you won’t find them here; but this isn’t applebee’s food either.
Interesting place with lots of character…many rooms to explore. Went as part of a group and the wait staff was first class. The apps were standard and the cocktails/wine were generous. The specials…I had the ribeye with Brie cheese…tasty! The other folks had fish etc and all seemed please. Nice place for a special night out
Overpriced food there. The deli lady Laura is very rude while trying to take a takeout order pointing at me and saying rude things to me. Then I tried to get the owner of the store to tell them about the bad service I have just received so the owners wife named Beth comes out is very rude. she told me she didn’t have the time and went to the BATHROOM. All around terrible front of house management. But very efficient kitchen.
