Disappointed. We went to the Gecko today to try it out for the first time to try a local place we hadn’t been before. Bottom line, the whole experience was a big disappointment. Took us 45 minutes to get food. When the food arrived, it was all cold and the pancakes were burnt. Our waitress was nice, but when my wife told her she didn’t care for the quiche, the waitress didn’t even offer something different or to take it off the check. Needless to say, this was our first and last visit as we are very disappointed.
I love this place, been here numerous times , clean, spacious and for what you pay a good deal. It is breakfast, not gourmet food, it is what it is and pretty darn good! I would recommend and come again!
Not impressed. Maybe we hit this restaurant on a bad day or maybe the rating is high because of the lack of local options. A long wait for service and then an incredibly long wait for the food. My order was under cooked and my wife’s was over cooked. The menu is standard fare.
Price is always important but so is quality. At BGG you get both. Order your meal the way you want it and that’s what you’ll get. Food and service are great!
Good food. The atmosphere was fun and the food was good. We went for breakfast and it was fine, not spectacular, but fine. The prices were reasonable.
This is the third time that I have had breakfast here. It was so yummy and reasonable. We bought some hot sauce and we really like it, yum yummy.
Hmmm…wow. I go on Sundays (so it shoud be busy) and it was. But it took 15 mins to seat down, 30 mins before a sever took our drink order and food. 15 mins later we get our drinks. 15 mins later we get food. all eat fast so we can get out.
