Had a great lunch at this cozy diner. Had the Gyro with fries and my wife had cream of chicken over Texas toast. Both dishes were prepared perfectly and we delicious. Outer service from our waitress was good. She was very attentive and always checked on us. There breakfast , such as the pancakes are my favorite here.
We went here for breakfast and it was ok at best. My fiance’s omelet was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside and our coffee was really bland. However, their pancakes and sausage were delicious! Also, our server was rather rude acting as if serving us was a chore.
Good breakfast. Pancakes are particularly good. Quick and friendly at a reasonable price….
Great food. My sisters and I there for the first time…We live in Cocoa. I really like the staff. Not many cozy breakfast places any more…
We have lived in the area a year and go to breakfast every weekend. After coming to Cozy Corner, I hate to go anywhere else. The food is consistently good and the blueberry pancakes are to die for. But the standout is the service. These are the friendliest servers on the planet. They are always smiling and genuinely seem to love their job.
I don’t understand where all the rave reviews about this place come from. I’ve eaten at most restaurants around central Brevard County so I’ve seen the gamut of choices. I stopped by for breakfast the other morning. My eggs were cooked perfectly, but the home fries were hardly browned and the biscuit was also on the verge of being under done. I saw stains on the curtains and the general appearance inside was dingy and looked like it needed a thorough cleaning. On the plus side the service was friendly and efficient as other reviewers have noted. There are better choices for dining out in Merritt Island.
Where the locals eat, that tells you something!. The Cozy Corner Cafe is tucked into the corner of a shopping center behind a Dunkin Donuts. That might be bad for business, if it weren’t for the great Breakfast and Lunch they serve that keeps the locals rolling in.As we walked up, almost all the license plates were local, something that often means a good meal awaits in a location like this. Our guess was confirmed as our order appeared magically fast from the small and open kitchen located directly off the main dining area. The food is good, solid homestyle cooking. You won’t get quail eggs and such here, but you will get filled up with good grub.A cheerful and experienced staff makes the visit easy, and the only hitch was that they do not take American Express.
