Nicaragua meets Santeria. The ambience is a hybrid between a caf in the amazons and a Santeria shop in Miami, lots of fun. The food is incredible and so cheap! I have return and return for lunch various times. It is one of my favorite places to eat in Little Havana but I still do not dare to visit after dark. The Nicaragua food is very authentic. Ask for the side order of the fried cheese, it is so cholesterol good. The tongue dish is so moist that it practically melts in your mouth. The chicken tacos are crisp on the outside, fried of course and delicious pieces of chicken mix with melted cheese in the inside. .
Awesome late night find. Great fritanga. Stick to the carne asada, which is made fresh regularly, and you won’t be disappointed. The have a good gallo pinto, great tacos, and great drinks. The rest of the food in the steam trays looks a bit questionable. The ambiance is adorable and looks like you’re in a Nicaraguan village. A great place to stop after a night on the town, being that it is open 24 hours, 365 days a year, and is always jumpin.
