Cocktails made from fresh squeezed fruit. Great live music. A truly special bar set in a art deco house from the 30's. See Doc. Best bartender ever.…

The band and space was great, but the service was almost nonexistent. It seems like this could be great with some staff training.
Completely restored to its ’30s period decor, 1930’s House offers retro cocktails or other drinks in a cool setting. The only slight downside is music can be a tad loud for conversation, but that’s par for the course in Miami. Outdoor seating is nice, too.
This bar is really gorgeous. The drinks are terrific (try the AIN’T MISbeeHAVIN’ or the Ceviche Sour), the small plates are delicious (try the croquetas), and Rory the bartender is amazing! Definitely worth a visit, especially for Sunday Night Drinking Club.
this is one of those weird spots that you just by chance and I mean just by chance happpen to stumble on because you have to go the bathroom really bad. What you find is a hell of a great place I really enjoy it
Was staying at the Thompson for a business conference and we used 1930s House throughout. On the Thursday evening, however, with our group and other customers there was a long wait for the bar. There were only two bartenders, both of whom were pretty slow.
