To create a unique, intimate atmosphere at a restaurant can be a challenge, especially if youre trying to capture both Miamis local and tourist populations. 27 is one of those places that achieves this without a doubt. Located inside the Art Deco building at the Freehand Hotel, this restaurant offers a menu as diverse as Miamis community. Every detail has been thought through in order to create a very dimly lit location that is still enjoyable. From their entrance, to the service, and their cozy bar on the second floor complete a place that is worth enjoying! If you want to escape the city, turn off your phone and submerge yourself in the experience. They offer a good selection of wines and creative cocktails. We will return to indulge the food and cocktails. miamismith.com
It was not a place to enjoy food. I had 3 courses and none was above average. Maybe for a drink but not for the food. The atmosphere is not that famous.
Just back from a meal in 27 Restaurant and already booked my table for tomorrow. This is how good it is! And i am hard to please when it comes to food not easily satisfied but 27 did. First visit and it won me over. Especially that aioli, i shall say no more.
The tamales are delicious, served at brunch with a poached egg on top. Would have liked it more if it came with two eggs. This restaurant is set up tapas style to share and try everything. They have unlimited mimosas for brunch if you choose. Had the egg white whiskey drink (forgot the name of it) but it was delicious! Ceviche toastada was Delish as well fresh and a little spices. The whole restaurant is set up in an old Miami house indoor or outdoor quirky cozy design inside. I would of taken a pic of my food but I forgot until I was halfway done!!
Tried this American restaurant while I was staying in January twenty sixteen. Being a pure Vegeterian it was tough to know what to order and what not to order. By friend cum colleague took me to this place and I don’t remember exactly what he ordered for me but the food was excellent and I ordered smoky Margherita for my drinks. Also we ordered almost every dessert out of which I loved Brownie the most. Friendly staff and nice hospitality.
