This is a cosy nice after place to relax. They play live music at night. Good ambience, lot of options in menu.they have some amazing starters . Loved their cocktails too Tamal Valluna was yummy! Enchidillaa were so crispy and the sauce that accompanied ( 3 spicy) was simply amazing
AMAZING FOOD! Delicious Ceviche Bolivar and La Bandeja Paisa was incredibly well done. I’m stuffed to satisfaction. I wish this place were in Boston!
The patacon is divine!. I chanced upon Bolivar while dining in a food tour group with the Miami Culinary Tours company. The food at this restaurant is mainly Columbian/South-American fusion cuisine, and this has become one of my favorite places to eat. First of all, we got to sample a drink called refajo – it’s a blend of beer and Columbiana soda. This is right up my alley because it was sweet and fizzy and reminded me of a moscato wine. The drink was perfectly paired with our food sampling; patacon (deep-fried green plantains with shredded beef on top), crispy empanadas (corn fillo pockets with meat inside), and a spicy green sauce that was absolutely delicious. It was so good that I kept drizzling it onto each bite of my food, even though it was also so hot that it made my eyes water. The restaurant is artsy, with a modern flair to go with its old-fashioned wooden tables. Lined against the walls are locally produced wines, and the hanging artwork is edgy and new. If you’re looking for authentic Columbian food, this is the best place I’ve found yet to go for it. The food is always hot, fresh, and perfectly made. Make sure you try the green sauce, that stuff is awesome! masterofmom.com
Delicious!!! Awesome sangria & ceviche shots!
Bad place!!!. The food is horrible. I was hoping it was a good Colombian joint for dinner in the heart of South Beach. It was a total disappointment. The service is very bad. Not recommend!!!! It’s up to you to experience it. It’s not cheap!!!!!
Chupe is a Peruvian hearty seafood chowder. This one was made with shrimps, white cheese, potatoes, rice, peas and egg. I must say that I had a gastronomic moment when this warm and fragrant soup jump-started the stomach. This thick and large Chupe was the very heart of deliciousness. miamiculinarytours.com
