Best seafood risotto on the beach. Family own and operated I send Guest from my hotel there all the time. The daily specials are fantastic, the grill octopus melts in your mouth and the lobster ravioly is incredible. The staff is very attentive and the service is superv. A nice combibation of locals and tourist make a very comfortable atmosphere. A great bar area that showcases sporting events and hot topics wile Kimberly will blow your mind with the best cocktails in town. Wether your looking for fine dinning or casual there is a place for all at Cafe avanti.

Intimate and Warm Italian. After being in busy South Beach for a few days, I wanted a quiet dinner that did not feel touristy. I wanted a dinner that was as good as home cooked (my mom’s a great cook) and with service that was attentive but not disruptive. Cafe Avanti met my needs and it is easy to see why they are a success. The service was superb and the food was amazing. I don’t know if you can find a better Italian meal and dessert. I gave them 5 stars to emphasis the fact that this place is not a risk. Each guest that came into the restaurant was welcomed as if they had been coming for years. If you are looking for hip and trendy, there are other options, but this restaurant is lovely if you are looking for a great meal and a place that is a catalyst for warm conversation.

Just amazing. Rarely will I walk away happy about any meal I paid this much for,but this was an amazing place. We came here for the second time and this time I got the stuffed artichoke….this is something i have NEVER had in a restaurant nor have ever seen.It was a huge stuffed globe artichoke with tons of flavor and the prep staff who de-thorned this thing did not leave a THING behind, and I can tell you this is a labor of love.i make these things quite often and i can tell you its BRUTAL,so if you’re reading oh exalted one my hats off to you ,you are greatly appreciated. The risotto here is also amazing and my grilled pork chop marsala had an array of different mushrooms giving it a really nice body. The osso bucco was the finest I’ve ever tasted,as was the lobster ravioli.I feel quite privileged to be in a family that thinks nothing of rotating plates around the table till we all have eaten from each others plates.yes its expensive, but trust me it is well done food and not a cheap ingredient in sight.the staff is amazing and oddly discreet which is a trait you just dont see anymore….my water glass was always full and I dont remember anyone filling it,they just snuck in ,and man do I like that a lot.

Outstanding!. High quality, southern Italian with great staff. If they have the veal chop special – don’t miss it. The risottos are all out of this world and the lobster ravioli is delicious. Extremely attentive (and very discreet) wait and bus staff and a kitchen that really knows what they’re doing. Dinner for two (including wine and one dessert) $90.
