Was checking out south beach and saw the big sign for 99 cent tacos. Just wanting something quick and cheap to keep exploring, so chose this place. 1st catch, you had to order a drink to get the deal. 4.50 for a small cup of soda, or 8 for a basic beer. I had a beer, friend had a soda – prices weren’t available on drinks beforehand. We had 10 tacos between us. They were slaw, a small amount of meat, served in a corn tortilla right out of the bag. Nothing great, but for 99 cents what do you expect right? Got the bill, almost 30 for the bill because now (2nd catch) they add a 20% service charge to your bill! So this cheap quick snack cost 30. I let the 20% service charge serve as the tip. Tourist trap, food not very good, extra charges….not surprised there were only a few other people there. Surprised this place can take up real estate on ocean drive at south beach. Thought I’d write a review today since I’ve been homebound with an upset stomach all day the day after. Avoid this place.figured I’d give the place 1 star so I could review it.
