Best fresh Seafood in Miami Beach. I am a concierge at a very well known resort in Miami Beach and I send all my guest to Fifi’s Place confident that they will get only the freshest fish. I live in the area as well and have been going there from the start. Try the shrimp tempura, the sea bass is incredible and the paella is to die for. Latin flavor with an asian flare, fifis place will be the only spot of off the beaten path dinning exellence.
Walking along the beach at night my group decided it was time for dinner. Saw fifis place and a sign that said fresh stone crab. The food we ordered was good (stone crab, scallops, lobster, soft shell crab) but it took almost 30 minutes to get it. Service was weak, prices were kinda high, and the food was good. Not great, just good.
I rated ‘like’ but that doesn’t mean I want to comeback. The food is not bad and the service is ok. But the price vs food taste does not match it’s way to expensive for the quality/taste.
Fantastic food! Good prices. Terrible service when it’s busy. This is a neighborhood gem, family-owned and operated; but don’t expect professional quality from their service.
The paella dish is overcooked!!29 May, 2011The paella is too cooked!!
Nice but could improve. I went there with a loved one and some friends. We ordered alot. We asked if they had fresh vegitables as a side, they brought out the frozen sysco asian vegitable blend. Also I enjoyed the Black Cod however my Chillean sea bass had a stale flavor like it had thawed out had gotten a puncture and then frozen again. It was ok but left me wondering. The appetizer was a nice snapper they did with a spicy lime and satay I believe it was very nice. We also special ordered the veggies and salads for everyone. We never got the salad and out meals came(timely honestly). I would go back but I think I’d stick with more localized options. Also get some local produce and make a Vegi side that will sing!!!!!
Not what we expected. I had dinner there with my wife tonight. We walked in early (just before 6pm). The place was empty and the staff was still setting up for dinner. Someone we met earlier in the day, recommended the place.Fifi’s was great find. The place is very eclectic. The art, the lights, the menu…. there was no clear theme, but somehow it all came together in a nice way.I would recommend the paella for two. It was good.
