Different sushi and really great. This is not your typical sushi joint and the cooked food isn’t Japanese. I’m not going to ruin all the surprises but it’s just different. Example, sushi chef is puerto irfan so they make Latin sushi rolls with stuff like mafongo on top and fried plantains. Sounds gross??? NOT even close! And supposedly the servers make the deserts in the morning and bring them in like a pot luck dinner. Am I a fan? Well did you know all these fun facts? Exactly…

Really good, really good prices. I went to Kung Fu this week and i have to say i really liked it. I always drive and walk by but have never actually gone in. The sushi was really fresh, we ordered some rolls, sashimi and hand rolls, all prepared very well. We also ordered some noodle dishes and tacos, everything came out hot and as described. We also ordered some sake, they had a good selection and it was not too expensive. The food was priced fair as well. All in all a good dining experience. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The King Fu roll was decent, but not extraordinary. The edamame was also overlooked, but they did remake it for me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Mediocre Sushi at best. Good drinks though.

Overall good food and ambience. Prices are high but i think this is as expected for the location. Dined on a Friday night and got Sushi & a Show. Burlesque performance and live DJ!

Expensive Disappointment. I recently went to Kung Fu Kitchen and the smell of old musty rugs should have been an indication of what was to come. The waiter seated us quickly and they were friendly but this place needs a good clean up and make over. The warm towels that we were provided soon after we were seated to clean our hands, actually left an old musty smell on my hands. The glass of water smelled the same way, the food is extremely overpriced for value of food that you get and the portions are extremely small, you can easily spend $60 per person on 1 drink and a few sushi rolls. Save your money, this place is not worth it.

Cool place, nice ambiance, good food. Kung Fu is conveniently located on Collins and 17th. I drive by this place every day on my way to work and I just decided to check it out. I went there on Thursday night and let me tell you – it was FUN!!! They had a burlesque group of 5 girls performing for the whole night – blowing fire, stripping, dancing and running around. The best part was that the girls were half naked! If it comes to food, it was actually very tasty. I ordered Dragon Roll and Chicken Teriyaki with wasabi mashed potatoes. It came out fast, even though the reviews say otherwise. I had one of their signature cocktails – spicy lychee martini. It was delicious. I will definitely come back, but this time I will bring a group of my friends.
