I have very high standards for sushi- being from Vancouver BC and travelling around North America. This place is fresh, fast, cheap, and good quality. If you want great sushi for cheap…. Make the trip. I’m happy I did!
Great atmosphere. Fresh food. Good price for sobe. Russian girls are the best there:)
The place Has a great atmosphere I’ve been a costumer for about 7 months now. The cashiers have an attitude problem. The food sometimes is great and sometimes mediocre.. But one thing I can say about this place is.. Their brazilian sushi chef is HOT!! Only reason I deal with the cashiers.
Good value, good food. If you’re in South Beach and in the mood for some sushi, definitely DO check out Hiro’s.First, what Hiro’s is NOT. Hiro’s is not a high-end sushi bar. Our order was out in less than five minutes, so there’s no way it was constructed fresh. However, there were three chefs behind the bar, so I’m confident they made it today. For the price ($23 for 8 california rolls, 8 salmon rolls, 3 tuna nigiri, 3 salmon nigiri, 6 spicy tuna rolls, and 6 tempura shrimp rolls) it can’t be beat. Unless you have a developed pallette for sushi, you’ll never know the differnce between Hiro’s and bars that would charge 3 times as much.
Owner. Had some burnt salmon there and went back and spoke with owner that I was not happy, and he did not refund me the money. I was a regular customer too. Very bad customer service. I would not recommend a place that the owner doesn’t value his customers or serves sub standard food then tries to weasel out of a refund.
This place is THE BEST.. I’ve been to a bunch of sushi/japanese restaurant ( including Iron Sushi ) around Miami, most of them very high end and expensive. I’ve got to say that the best sushi I’ve had so far has been at Hiro’s Sushi Express and their prices aren’t pretentious. I’ve been to the one on Washington only and the service there has always been acceptable. It isn’t a restaurant, so why would you expect the service one is rendered at a restaurant? It’s a grab and go kind of place where the food is actually, in my opinion, the best and could easily be served at any high end sushi bar. It’s fresh, it looks appealing and beautifully rolled, I love it and you will too. Iron sushi seems to be a favorite, but it doesn’t even compare to Hiro’s for me.
