Coming from a sushi fanatic this is possibly the best sushi place in Miami. You have to wait up to an hour for a table because of how small and popular it is, but it’s so worth it. The sushi boats are a cute touch and the sushi is always fresh and beautifully presented. Furthermore each plate is priced well so the dinner doesn’t end up costing as much. Really wonderful place I loved it!
This is an excellent value for your buck! Considering the freshness and quality, this is one of the best values for sushi in North America. Located slightly off the grid but still quite close to the touristy areas, this is a good destination. There are no unusual rolls here but everything that I tried was tasty and fresh. They have an interesting a delicious squid salad and a delicious tuna with tempura salad, wonderful uni and lots of salmon sashimi. A great place to go for good sushi without breaking the bank.
[email protected]. Sushi here is as good as any other good sushi restaurant, the place is very rundown, dirty and the manager a guy named Toshi, is vey rude and not a people person at all, not sure how they put him to run this place, anyway, don’t waste your time going there, the place smells and they don’t take care of it at all, a couple of pics posted with this review could say more than I can.
Sushilicius!. Floating Wooden boats on a conveyor belt sailing around filled with delicious sushi as the chef prepares it right in front of your eyes. Each plate had a different price and as you stack them, that is your bill. By all means this is not a fine dining experience, definitely a local spot, always a wait since is very good. Perfect for a casual night with friends and good food.
Just came home from this authentic place. And I feel nothing but satisfaction. Very nice and helpful stuff, sushi are fresh and delicious. Yes, the place itself isn’t state of art but at the end, it’s a place to eat great and affordable Japanese food.
Youkoso irasshai mashita. Tiny no sign sushi place 7 blocks from my winter diggs. Been here 5 winters and never noticed the place. Happened on it on google maps app. Walked in and was seated within a minute on the skinny side of the place. The joint was full of young locals busy slurping and thoroughly enjoying their sushi. No frills but super friendly staff. Felt like we were in an Anthony Bourdain (no reservations) episode of local cuisine. The octopus off the floating boat canal was excellent, the seaweed salad was also delectable. Shrimp tempura and shrimp dumplings were to write home about. All in all, we indulged more than we should have, and that’s without trying the heaping banana dessert thingy the couple next to us had. Only complaint was the microwaved sake. Please warm up my sake next time in hot water bath. A must if you visit north beach.
Best authentic Japanese sushi in town!
