La Cte is a casual dining / drinks terrace by the Fontainebleau hotel’s pool. Non-hotel guests are also welcome, and the restaurant has an entrance from the beach boardwalk. I sat at the bar and ordered a frozen margarita and a plate of fried calamari, which came with chopped olives, jalapeos and romesco sauce – all very good.
Chilled Prawns with salsa verde $18. These prawns were fresh and crunchy. I think there were 5 in the serving of $18. The salsa verde was finely chopped which shows a sign of a chef who cares how his/her food is presented. The salsa verde was very mild with a touch vinegar. I liked that the salsa did not overpower the subtle taste of the prawns. miamiculinarytours.com
