This place isn’t as good as it looks. Mia Bella Roma is an average restaurant on South Beach in Miami. Service is adequate but prices are ridiculous high! I would never say that in Italian restaurant I don’t taste pizza. The dough was tough and dry.We paid more than $ 100 for two small pizzas and chicken breast with potato. Fortunately gratuity wasn’t include in the bill. If you see this place, you should go away and try to find better place with good food. I don’t recommend!

Horrible drinks!. Over priced bland food and I had to send back a disgusting passion fruit mojito that looked and tasted more like luke warm minestrone soup! The next one they made caused my friend to throw up! Seriously!!!

Unexpected entertainment on a relaxing Sunday afternoon. The Mia Bella Roma pizza was delicious and the drinks were reasonably priced for Oean Dr. Ordering the pizza turned out to be ridiculous. Well actually getting the pizza you ordered had us laughing our ass off. It was mid afternoon and we just wanted a light bite with our drinks. We decided to share a pizza which was a good size for us. The problem arose when we tried to get one half without tomato because one of our party did not enjoy tomatoes. The first pizza arrived with all ingredients on one half ( good) and the other half with tomato and cheese only. The opposite of what we ordered. We sent it back thinking we soon have our desired pizza. It was over an hour from the time we arrived until the second pizza arrived. It had the right ingredients on one side without tomato ( right ) but only tomato and cheese on the other half. Wrong again. Our waiter had left so we told the stand in that we wanted the pizza we ordered but we were starving and would eat the pizza that they had served. We waited a long time and still had not received the pizza we ordered. We complained to the stand in waiter and he told us when we accepted and ate the second pizza, the transaction was complete. Fortunately Sienna was friendly and had asked us after the first pizza what the problem was. We were ticked that they could not get the order right and were blowing us off. She went to the back and told us a pizza would be coming. It arrived identical to the second pizza. We broke out laughing. A nearby patron asked what was happening. Obviously from our outburst of laughter, there was a story here. When Sienna came by she also joined us in laughter. It was ridiculous! We had a great time, the food and drinks were great and Sienna was a sweetheart. If we had her as a waitress, the order would have been handled properly, no doubt but we would not have had the great entertainment. If you go when it is not busy, be sure to negotiate two for one drinks for everyone and a discount on the food.

Could Do Better. We absolutely know! And I know that we know! But we pulled into Miami REALLY late (with 6 yr old in tow). We know a majority of the real restaurants are off the strip. HOWEVER, we just wanted to walk the strip and realized we hadn’t eaten all day and we still had to travel. Decided on Italian, and we were sidewalk accosted for Mia Bella Roma. We purposely kept the meal selection low (spaghetti and pizza split b/w the three of us). An appetizer and no alcohol. Somewhere in this ok tasting food we were body slammed with a near $70 bill and if you’re not reading carefully, has a 18% gratuity attached. I realize we’re paying for the rent, the meal, the staff, the local taxes… but to make sure I tip the waiter is really crazy. This place was chosen to people watch and nothing more. Our trip back into the area (without the little one) will certainly find us at another establishment.

Run in the other direction. …. Run – IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! Expensive is an understatement. It felt like Little India in Manhattan where the hostess accosted us on the sidewalk to come in, offered free kids’ meals (pasta w red or white sauce) but when we asked for meat sauce, they charged full price (small plate at lunch about $14 and pasta was cold). Automatic 18% gratuity (for party of 3?) but the service was rude and almost non-existent. Dirty handed / nailed waiter with no refilling of water glasses, attitude entire time, etc. Glasses and plates DIRTY! Pizza inedible, pasta cold as mentioned above and seafood salad was fair. Surprisingly, a salmon carpaccio appetizer was very good. No iced tea available (huh?) and diet soda and lemonade a fortune. I get this is South Beach but there are lots of better options.

Very disappointed. Service was very indifferent with a server who clearly didn’t know what she was doing; food was average Italian fare – you could get this at any strip mall restaurant anywhere in America. Got a bill for $394 for 5 people, with wine at $60, no deserts, service definitely wasn’t worth the 18% charge they automatically added —- there’s no way this restaurant could get away with this if they weren’t sitting on Ocean Drive in South Beach. Over five days, this was definitely our most disappointing experience.
